Description
We’ve known for years the components of effective professional learning. Using that research and what is known about how people learn, McREL has created a model for professional learning that uses its six-phase learning model to design effective learning experiences for educators. If professional learning intends to change teacher practice and positively impact student learning, it is essential that educators have opportunities to learn new content and skills, process that learning, engage in meaningful and repeated practice, and receive feedback as they continue to learn.
