This professional learning Part A session is designed for administrators and mathematics teachers to provide a clear, month-by-month overview of key instructional focuses and "look-fors" in mathematics throughout the school year. The goal of the session is to support effective planning by connecting instructional actions that are strategically aligned to promote student success on the Grades 6-8 F.A.S.T. Assessments. Participants will have the opportunity to develop a sample action plan based on the priorities for a specific month by reviewing important math instructional elements, such as upcoming weekly briefings, District-developed Grades 6-8 Topic Assessments windows, data disaggregation and analysis, and more. The session will also highlight scheduled professional learning opportunities, including iCADs and Content Academics sessions focused on specific topics. Please note that Part B of this session will be offered during Scaled Leadership for administrators and during the September 2025 iCAD for teachers.
