This session provides an in-depth overview of the latest insights and developments from the Teacher Retention Advisory Committee (TRAC), highlighting key findings and strategies aimed at strengthening support for new teachers, increasing retention rates, and reducing early-career frustrations. Additionally, participants will be introduced to the district’s newly enhanced PLST Lead Mentor/MINT Mentor/Buddy Teacher and Peer Support database. This tool is designed to foster meaningful mentorship, collaboration, and professional growth throughout the school year. It ensures that new teachers are well-prepared and supported in their early careers, ultimately improving student outcomes and reducing teacher attrition.
