In this session, participants will learn how to effectively use complex text to scaffold instruction, supporting students in mastering the B.E.S.T. ELA Standards. They will build a common understanding of text complexity and its critical role in Tier 1 instruction. Participants will explore strategies for scaffolding grade-level texts, using student data to develop targeted supports that enhance comprehension. Through scenario-based practice, participants will apply their learning, focusing on how to effectively provide scaffolds that support student access to complex text.
