Since embarking on her career with Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) in 1998 as an intern, Alina Rodriguez has demonstrated a consistent dedication to Exceptional Student Education. Her journey includes serving as a classroom teacher for students with emotional needs, coordinating the E/BD program, and working as a Behavior Management Teacher. As a key contributor to positive school climate, she initiated her role as a team leader and district PBIS coach. Today, Alina leverages her extensive experience by supervising programs for students with E/BD as well as the SEDNET grant and leading district-level initiatives for PBIS, FBA, restraint practices, and Bilingual ESE programs. Her academic foundation includes Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education, complemented by certifications in Educational Leadership, Elementary Education, Special Education, and ESOL. Alina Rodriguez stands as a passionate and accomplished leader in the field.
