Kristen Condella joined Renaissance as a National Academic Advisor after 15 years working with students and teachers in South Florida. Starting her career in a middle school math classroom, Kristen used the STAR products and focused on inclusion of all students for a successful learning experience. Earning the District Inclusion Teacher of the year in both 2009 and 2010, her passion is utilizing technology to change students' preconceived notions about mathematics.

Kristen transitioned to the district level in 2014 as the Coordinator of K-12 Mathematics, supporting teachers to increase district wide Algebra 1 EOC scores to #1 in the state of Florida, and top 10 in K-8 mathematics.
Her passion for educational technology and implementation of STAR district wide, including using STAR for teacher evaluation data provided an opportunity for Kristen to embrace the role of Director of Technology Integration. As part of this role, Kristen spearheaded the 1:1 initiative, and appropriate use of educational technology to support learning first. A highlight of her tenure in Monroe County was during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she led the charge for uninterrupted student instruction in a 100% digital environment for 10 months and maintaining a dual modality option for all students as an on-going option for students and families. Kristen was awarded the Innovative Leadership in Distance Learning K-12 award in 2021 for her work with exceptional education students in virtual learning environments.

Kristen received her bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida in Public and Cultural Communication; a master�s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in Educational Leadership and Public Policy; and her Educational Doctorate from Southeastern University in Organizational Leadership.

Kristen lives in sunny Key West, Florida with her husband of 16 years, Sean. Kristen and Sean have two active children, Alexa (16) and Kyle (14) Who love sports and community activism. Kristen�s hobbies include volunteering in community activities, coaching volleyball, and traveling.
