A graduate of Barry University, Ms. Royo has been a Risk Manager for over 30 years, and she has specialized in Workers' Compensation for the last 20 years. She is employed by Miami-Dade County Public Schools the second-largest public employer in the state and the third largest school system in the nation. Ms. Royo supervises a high-volume customer service-driven workers' compensation program. She remains focused on providing high-value care managing expenses without impacting the quality delivered to the injured worker. Under her direction, the program has received both national and local recognition for both excellence and innovation.
