Marlon Moore is the Community Engagement Coordinator with the Miami-Dade Public Library System. Marlon supervises the Library's YOUmake Miami maker spaces, the Coworking Center, the Technobus (an innovative mobile technology education lab), and the Library's Bookmobiles.

Mr. Moore holds a Master of Science in Information Degree from Florida State University. He has developed award-winning library initiatives such as: the Mogul Maker Expo business conference, Hackathons at the Library, drone classes, mixed reality programs, and the Fearless, Mindful Youth Initiative which presents college and career workshops for youth in business, finance, music entertainment, poetry, creative writing, and workshops featuring NASA scientists. His work has helped the Miami-Dade Public Library System receive 6 National Association of Counties (NACo) Awards, the Florida Library Association- Library Innovation Award, and the Urban Library Council- National Top Innovator Award in Civic and Community Engagement.

Mr. Moore employs innovative strategies to provide skill-building and exposure to career opportunities for children and Library patrons of all ages through technology, music, fine arts, multimedia and Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics (STEAM). He regularly presents interactive workshops and speaking presentations at national and international conferences.
