She firmly believes that people are often motivated when they have a sense of purpose and believe their work or actions have meaning. She also believes that granting individuals a certain level of autonomy and empowering them to make decisions and take ownership of their work can increase motivation. One of her most used concepts with others is creating an inclusive and supportive work environment that fosters motivation.
