Veronica Recio started her career in education as a teacher of gifted at Ethel F. Beckford/Richmond Elementary in 1997. She eventually transferred to Ludlam Elementary were she served as a teacher working with students in grades K- 5 and then as the Reading Coach. In the 2013-2014 school year, Ms. Recio became the Assistant Principal at David Fairchild Elementary. She has proudly spent the last ten years there working with the DFE staff to make “David Fairchild Elementary is a nice place to grow.” It is her goal and belief to lead with a servant's heart and create a school culture that is student-centered.
