Mrs. Karen L. Moore is an experienced educator with a wealth of knowledge as it relates to teaching and learning at many levels. She holds a Master of Science degree in Reading Education from Florida International University and an Ed.S. with a specialization in Instructional Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Ms. Moore has worked with Miami-Dade County Public Schools for the past 39 years in several capacities. She has also served as an adjunct professor for Barry University and has developed many teachers through the Reading and ESOL Endorsement courses. In her current role as a Literacy Curriculum Support Specialist for the Education Transformation Office, Ms. Moore is committed to fostering growth in both teachers and students.
