Additionally, Laura obtained a Master's degree in Secondary Reading from Grand Canyon University, Recognized for her dedication and commitment to education, Laura was a runner-up for the prestigious MDCPS Teacher of the Year award in 2018. Her love for teaching extends to a wide range of subjects, as she will be instructing courses in Gifted World and United States History, Cambridge History, Women's Studies, and Journalism in the upcoming year.
