Mrs. Carolina Sanchez-Vergara, a Cuban-American teacher from Little Havana in Miami, Florida is a dynamic and sporty educator and proud mother of two boys. A graduate of Syracuse University, she pursued her teaching career through Teach for America. At Brownsville Middle School, she taught 7th grade, 8th grade and 8th grade research, focusing on providing a supportive learning environment for her students. Currently, she serves as an ETO Curriculum Support Specialist for Secondary Science. She strongly believes in educational equity and her genuine joy comes from making children smile, and fostering a positive and uplifting atmosphere in the classroom.
