FOR POSTSECONDARY ADMINISTRATORS ONLY: This dynamic panel discussion is tailored to M-DCPS administrators and focuses on fostering strategic partnerships with government entities, organizations, and industry leaders. This exclusive session will empower participants to identify connections that will positively impact students, programs, and this district as a whole. Learn about the district’s efforts to build partnerships at various levels, gain insights into successful partnership strategies, and discover how these collaborations have already enriched out IET & apprenticeship programs, providing real-world experiences and valuable skills for our students. This session is the next step as we continue to build bridges that will benefit our students and educational landscape at M-DCPS for years to come.

Presenter Bio for Mr. Travis Kelly:
Travis Kelly is an experienced Special Projects Administrator with a demonstrated history of working in the government administration industry. Currently serving as the Special Projects Administrator I at CareerSource South Florida in Miami, Florida, Travis is proficient in leadership and organization. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration from Florida International University and is skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Government, and Management. Travis is committed to making a positive impact in his community, and he has dedicated his career to improving the lives of individuals through workforce development initiatives. With a passion for public service and a drive to create positive change, Travis is a valuable community partner of Miami-Dade County Public Schools and the broader community in his role under CareerSource South Florida.
Presenter Bio for Mr. Jarvis Washington:
Jarvis Washington is the Adult Programs Manager at CareerSource South Florida, where he manages programmatic and administrative activities associated with various workforce development programs. These programs are designed to provide employment and training assistance to adults under Adult Program, Refugee Program, Dislocated Workers, and/or the Disadvantaged Program. Jarvis is passionate about workforce development and enjoys making a difference in his community. He is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Sport Management and has aspirations of making a difference in the sports management industry. Jarvis is a driven individual who is committed to achieving his goals and making a positive impact in both his personal and professional life.
Presenter Bio for Ms. June Rall:
June Rall is the Director for Florida’s Institute for the Professional Development of Adult Educators (IPDAE). IPDAE is a project that is 100% supported by the Florida Department of Education, Division of Career and Adult Education. You can access the website by visiting www.floridaipdae.org. June’s experience in Adult Education spans over 18 years. She also has experience in the private sector serving as a Vice President of a major shoe company. She holds a BA in Education and a master’s degree in Career and Technical Education. June believes that moving the needle in the Adult Education community means actually moving the needle in the economy and it starts with quality professional development for teachers. June has made it her life’s work to not only provide a quality product but a complete experience where teachers are empowered by addressing their individual needs.
Presenter Bio for Mr. Jason Lange:
Jason Lange is the Founder and President of BloomBoard, a competency-based recruitment, retention, and advancement resource for school districts and employers. He brings a unique combination of strategic wherewithal and unbridled passion for fundamentally changing the education landscape. Prior to founding BloomBoard, Jason worked as an independent consultant for several charter school networks, and while in graduate school, he worked for NewSchools Venture Fund, evaluating how different technology tools might be used to improve educational outcomes. Jason holds a BA in Psychology from Yale University, as well as an MA in Education and an MBA from Stanford University.
Presenter Bio for Dr. Jeff Arnott:
Dr. Jeffery Arnott, the Executive Director of Post-Secondary and Secondary CTE at the School District of Osceola County, is currently the President of the ACE Board of Florida. With a Doctorate in Education from the University of Central Florida, Jeffery has dedicated his career to expanding opportunities for students in career and technical education (CTE) fields. He has been recognized for his outstanding work in the education sector, including being named Florida's Adult Education Administrator of the Year in 2015 and receiving the Career Source Florida Partner of the Year award in 2017. Jeffery is a passionate advocate for innovative teaching approaches that prepare students for success in the workforce, and he is committed to advancing the field of CTE in Florida and beyond.
