Session Information
This is the sequel session of the mandatory session titled Managing Student Behavior and Promoting Safe Learning Environments: Examining the Code of Student Conduct, School Environmental Safety Incident Reporting (SESIR), and Expulsion Protocols.
Participants will learn about the SESIR incident categories and how to appropriately document and report incidents, as well as explore case studies that illustrate effective reporting procedures. The session will also cover the procedures for submitting expulsion referrals, including the legal requirements, necessary documentation, and potential consequences.
Throughout the training, participants will engage in interactive activities, group discussions, and scenario-based exercises to reinforce their learning and build their skills in managing student behavior and promoting safe learning environments. By the end of the session, participants will have a deeper understanding of the SESIR system, enhanced reporting skills, and strategies for navigating the expulsion referral process.
