Ms. Tattala Bowie is a highly dedicated and ardent professional educator who has served the Miami-Dade County Public Schools for over 18 years. Her experiences include working at various K-12 educational settings including K-8, middle, and high school. Tattala has taught a variety of subject areas such as middle school social studies, intensive reading, and high school English grades 9-12. As an Instructional Coach during the past five years, she has taken great pride and found tremendous success in developing and supporting the capacity of teachers. Currently, Tattala serves as a curriculum support specialist for the office of Professional Learning and Career Development. Her professional passion is working with students and staff to build authentic disciplinary literacy experiences.
