Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS), the nation’s third largest school district, is committed to providing students a world class education. Synergy XI: Setting the Gold Standard is an example of and a testament to our commitment to our students, educators, leaders, and parents. As such, it is our honor and privilege to welcome you to Synergy XI: Setting the Gold Standard, M-DCPS’ premier summer professional development. This year’s conference will focus on overarching categories: Strategic Planning, Content Specific Workshops, Professional Learning, and Parental Engagement.

• Strategic Planning – School site leadership teams will develop the blueprint that will drive their academic and school culture foci for the 2024-2025 school year. Utilizing quantitative and qualitative data and an intensive analysis protocol, schools will use their findings and the continuous improvement process to identify and explain key components for the School Improvement Plan. These components include, but are not limited to selected Areas of Focus, Targeted Elements, Evidenced-Based Strategies, Action Steps, and Measurable Outcomes for the School Improvement Plan.

• Content Specific Workshops – Stakeholders will have the opportunity to participate in high-quality professional development sessions across all core content areas. These sessions will highlight and focus on best practices, pedagogical development, and instructional resources.

• Professional Learning – Key partners and various district offices will offer robust professional development sessions that are customized for teacher leaders and administrators. Once again, participants will have the opportunity to engage in over 800 courses that align to their professional goals and professional growth.
