This professional learning session will enable participants to acquire methodology for teaching second language acquisition, to improve vocabulary, reading comprehension and writing skills. Additionally, participants will understand the linguistic and literacy needs of students learning a second language and how to scaffold instruction. Participants will learn how to differentiate the content, process and/or product to meet the needs of their students and ensure equitable access to educational opportunities.
