Soraya has 20 years in the educational field. She taught elementary and secondary and served as a Dual Language Instructional Facilitator. Currently a Bilingual Professional Learning Consultant at Istation, she is expanding her reach to more districts, identifies with anyone learning an additional language, and recognizes how important it is to be supported to be successful. Soraya describes herself as a "triumph accelerator" who would like other educators to see themselves as such. She holds a Florida teacher certificate with ESOL and gifted endorsements. Like most Hispanics, she proudly carries both of her parents' last names and so do her children.
