Ryan King began his career in education over 20 years ago, teaching algebra in a Title I school. He then served as a middle school dean of students and later as an assistant principal at public schools in Seminole County, Florida. Ryan was inspired by the way students responded to online resources that had been designed to meet their needs, and moved to school leadership at Florida Virtual School, where he was a principal and later Director of Instruction. Ryan believes that the right technology tools in the right hands can change students' lives in powerful ways, and he's thrilled to now be a part of helping partner districts harness IXL to impact student achievement.
