Dr. Tracey Crews is an Enrollment Officer in the Office of Strategic Planning & Initiatives with Miami-Dade County Public Schools. She holds nearly 29 years of experience in the education field, 23 of those years being spent as a school and district administrator. Dr. Crews has worked in both low and high socioeconomic schools in the elementary and secondary setting. She earned her doctorate from the College of William and Mary and her dissertation focused on the principal's impact with early career teacher recruitment and retention. In her current role, Dr. Crews strives to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to recapture and retain student enrollment using a root-cause analysis approach. Through this approach, she believes that understanding the "why" coupled with a growth mindset will provide a clear path to assist schools with gaining a better understanding of enrollment recruitment and retention.
