Al Lawrence, Ph.D., has 12 years of teaching experience at MDCPS and three years as a Curriculum Support Specialist. He holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction and Applied Statistics from Florida International University. Dr. Lawrence is an educator-researcher who believes every student and teacher can embrace learning technologies by engaging in innovative teaching and learning approaches. Dr. Lawrence supports MDCPS teachers and administrators by providing professional development on instructional technologies such as Schoology, the AI Institute, iBot Sphero, and Drone Curriculum in the Innovation & Leadership Program.
