Leanne Akerman is an Education Consultant for Promethean. Leanne is originally from Miami, Fl. She studied at the University of Florida earning her Bachelor�s and Master�s degrees in Elementary Education. She moved back to Miami in 2005 where she worked as a teacher for 16 years with MDCPS. She earned her National board certification in 2009 and throughout her time in the county taught a variety of grade levels and subjects at the elementary level. She was also a math coach for 2 years. She loves learning and is fluent in Spanish as well. In this role she has the opportunity to train and support colleagues throughout the county and work with amazing teaching professionals.
