With a 25-year history in Communications and Education, she has significant expertise in project management, and the capacity to design, plan and implement ideas from conception through completion. Felicia is a high energy individual committed to managing multiple responsibilities without compromise to detail or quality.
Felicia has worked for Florida Virtual School, the state of Florida online school, for the past 15 years as the District Relations Manager for Miami Dade County. In this position, she serves as a regional expert in FLVS virtual education options for public, private, charter and homeschool students. She works directly with district and school level personnel to assess district needs, design and deliver virtual education solutions, and increase enrollments, while assisting districts in meeting all education requirements.
Felicia is widely recognized as a champion in diversity and inclusion matters. Her cultural sensitivity remains a crucial component of her many accomplishments. Working extensively within many school districts, Felicia has earned trust and respect from colleagues and clients alike.
An alumnus of The Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, Felicia holds her Bachelor of Science in Communications with an emphasis in Journalism. In 1998, she received her Master of Science in English Education from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Davie, Florida. She also holds an Education Specialist degree from NSU, in Organizational Management of Educational Programs. Felicia resides in West Park, Florida, where she currently serves as Mayor of the City.
