Ms. Rhea Lee is a Miami Native and a product of Miami-Dade County Public School (M-DCPS). Ms. Lee has worked in different capacities, in the same district that helped mold her into the professional she is today. Ms. Lee has worked as a teacher, school-based mental health professional, Curriculum Support Specialist, Director, and now proud Executive Director for the Department of Mental Health Services. Ms. Lee�s educational history includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology as well as a Master of Science in both Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Educational Leadership. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida, Ms. Lee has direct experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.

In her current role, Ms. Lee helps to oversee over 100 Mental Health Coordinators district-wide. She leads initiatives and programs that promote wellness and provide preventative care to students and families. Ms Lee believes the secret to mental wellness is to empower both the individual and the community.
